You know I like keeping you updated on Lolly. She is doing well she had her annual check up back in June. She does have a congestive heart but she is doing well. I still take her to PetSmart to get her hair and nails done. She's so spoiled now. I have to carry her up the stairs while I'm working so she can sleep on the bed while I'm working. She barks a lot more for attention. But it all has been worth it. Senior dachshunds rock!
I wanted to share some cute pics of Lolly. I've been working from home for the past 2 months so spending lots of time with her and Sampson. She sleeps most of the day. But when she wakes up she wants her belly rubbed. Spoiled rotten!
Just wanted to give you an update on Lolly. She is doing well but is slowing down, and she sleeps more and more but I know it comes with her aging. She still loves her carrots for treats. She is a full figure kind of gal now. I've been cutting back on her food to get her to lose or a pound or two. But I've never had any regrets adopting her senior dogs are the best. Sampson is attached to her too. I've attached a photo of her with her taco harness.
Lolly has settled in well. She no longer sleeps in her bed at night, she sleeps in the king sized bed with Sampson and myself under her own blanket. She has been such a joy to us. She had an ear infection last week but a trip to the vet and some medicine she's all better. She sleeps a lot, but I think it's because she's older. But all in all she is loved. I sent a video of her after I get home from work. She's happy to see me! She has her crabby moments but most of the time she's a sweetie.
I picked up Lolly today. She's home. She had dinner and ran around a little. She's now napping in her new bed. She has adjusted well and now sleeps with me and Sampson most nights. She’s a sweetie and definitely loves to eat. I’ve been feeding her carrots for treats and she loves them. All in all she has been a great addition to the family.
