Very sad news. Milo was suffering from renal failure (multiple trips to the vet), plus cataracts. The cataracts were really bothering him (walking into walls). All that plus loss of bladder control, I had to make the hard (compassionate) decision to let him rest. I have been crying for several days, but please know we gave him the best possible medical treatment and the most love we ever had in our hearts. The time we had with him was the best. He is finally at rest, but will forever live in my heart. He absolutely gave us love and gratitude. He was treated like a king. The house is quiet (too quiet) but we will take our time and most likely foster or adopt another senior, or even a bonded pair! Even though we are seniors ourselves, we have room in our hearts and home to offer love, care, comfort, companionship to these little angels who would not otherwise have a chance to be cared for during their later years. Please never doubt the love we had for our Milo. Thank you for entrusting him to us.
