Marshall Molar and his buddy Iris were recently abandoned when their owners moved away. They had been roaming around the neighborhood for a few weeks, going in and out of their backyard. Once it was confirmed that the dogs had been left behind, a family down the street took them in and posted on multiple sites asking for help. It was obvious that they were initially very scared and shy and needed to be placed where they could be safe and secure. This led them to make contact with DREAM. Following evaluation, we discovered that these two were not bonded and will make two special families who adopt them very lucky!
Marshall is an absolutely adorable Designer Dachshund! Our vet thinks he is a Corgi/Dachsie mix. DREAM followers may recall a precious pup we rescued two years ago, named Matthew Mittens. He too was an adorable Corgi mix!
Marshall is very puppy-like. Our vet thinks he is barely a year old, and at 17 lbs, he's fully grown. He's sleeping in his kennel without a peep, but when up, he’s a little busy body; always needing to investigate who’s doing what and why. His foster mom has never heard him bark, and he actually gets a little scared when all the other dogs start barking; he will run the other way! He’s really smart and is a dog who can easily learn commands. Marshall needs a nice large fenced yard to run and play in, preferably with at least one other playful dog buddy, large or small. He really likes, and is very comfortable with, all dogs and enjoys being a part of any action! He hasn’t had any accidents, most likely because he really enjoys being outside, so he happily let’s himself in and out the doggie door all day long for potty breaks!
