Since arriving in our foster home, Paulina, previously known as Luna, has been making remarkable progress. She is embracing the love and attention she receives, relishing in the joy of being around people. With her gentle nature and longing for companionship, Paulina has all the makings of a wonderful lap dog, ready to fill your days with warmth and affection.

In her foster home, Paulina has shown compatibility with a larger male Dachshund, although she does appreciate having her own space. However, she would also thrive as an only dog, especially with someone who can be with her for most of the day. Paulina's love for food serves as a great motivator, which can aid in her training as she transitions into her new home. While she maintains a healthy weight, her food motivation can be harnessed to encourage positive behavior.

In terms of house training, Paulina appears to have mastered the art. She dutifully goes potty when taken outside, displaying her understanding of proper etiquette. When it comes to walks with a harness and leash, she generally cooperates well, although she may exhibit a touch of stubbornness if her desires diverge from yours. Patience and gentle guidance are all it takes to convince her to happily accompany you on your adventures.

While Paulina's vision may not be as sharp as it once was, which is common for her age, she compensates with her alertness and keen sense of smell. Her little nose guides her through the world, ensuring she doesn't miss out on any exciting scents or experiences.
