Meet Fritz Feta. He lived all of his life with the same person and his littermate, Hanz Harzer, until his owner sadly passed away. She took great care of them and they had routine annual veterinary care and frequent dental cleanings. He has mild seizures that are controlled with an inexpensive medicine that is given twice daily with a meal. Fritz's ideal home is one where he and his brother Hanz can stay together with Dachshund lovers who have enough room in their hearts for two.

Fritz adapted very quickly to his new foster mom's household and she shared this information from Fritz:

I am a very sweet boy and have a lot of spunk. My foster mom has horses, cows, and chickens and I love letting them know I am watching them! I know how to sit on command and go potty outside. There are other dogs in my foster home and I get along with all of them- big ones and little ones. I do have one tiny problem- cats! I love chasing them! I don’t hurt them, but I do love a good chase. I love sleeping in my foster parents bed. I just dive down under the covers and sleep the night away. Sometimes I sleep in a crate and I am perfectly fine with that too. I just go right to sleep. I don’t even make a sound. My foster mom is very proud of me about that. My favorite part of the day is when I get to snuggle on the couch with my foster parents. I love them both and I love snuggling.
