Our hearts are broken. Sport developed two herniated discs this past Tuesday. We rushed him to Texas A&M where they did an MRI and took him into surgery. Yesterday he had reflexes in his back legs, which was good. But late last night he came down with Myelomalacia (disintegration of the spinal cord). Nothing could be done for him. We held him while he took his trip over Rainbow Bridge. We are sick and heartbroken. He was the most lovely little boy we have ever had. Sport gave of himself all the love and affection any dog could give. The hole in our hearts right now is so very deep. We shall miss him terribly. He was the sweetest little man. He would crawl up on your chest, put his head on your shoulder, and wrap his little front legs around your neck to give you a HUG! His passing is going to take a long while for us to get over.
